Spotify Canada celebrated its first birthday at Berkeley Church. The music streaming source put on a creative event that mimicked the versatility of its curated music experience.
“The love for rhythm, energy, performance and the explosive tradition of drums and percussion all working for you!” 416Beats Canada’s Premiere Entertainment Drumline kick started the party.
The event was a celebration of the success of Spotify in Canada and all the enjoyment it has provided. Spotify presents K-OS and Skratch Bastid on the Berkeley Church stage to a dancing crowd of music enthusiasts.

The mass appeal of Spotify’s platform was celebrated this evening with highlighted playlists where you can listen for free.
The mezzanine at Berkeley Church was an elegant lounge style space where guests could have a signature cocktail and check in with your personal playlist.
The Berkeley Church was abuzz with chatter and good conversation, a chance to appreciate new original music curated for this special event.

Treats were beautifully displayed on a custom sweet table.
Canada’s playlist was celebrated and the most streamed songs in Canada were celebrated with artists memorabilia and instruments.

Berkeley Catering created a menu with comfort food – namely its signature poutine: Yukon Gold fries, miso or beef gravy, and topped with Quebec cheese curds.
